Another day off another date with the alarm clock, ugh! We got up and got Ali off to preschool. Thursdays I have Ignite (the bible study I attend at Crossroads) and there is kid care which Katie was excited to go to...any excuse to make a new friend is a good one with Ms. Katie. Afterward we headed home for a quick lunch then her Grandma Anita picked her up for a girls night, they were headed off to visit Aunt Tricia & her new baby cousin Andrew and then dinner. She called us before bed and told us about going to dinner and having to use 4 sets of chopsticks before she got it right and trying something new (remember she's not good at new even with food like her mama) tempura fried sweet potatoes and according to her they were yummy!
Ali got to have her mommy & daddy all to herself! She helped me make dinner and then we watched Biggest Loser (yup this is a family show at out house). At bedtime she begged us to let her sleep with us, and we relented, so a good nights rest was had by all (HA!).
So it was a fairly quite and much slower day then the rest of our week and thank goodness! Today should be as well but we'll see.....
